How 315 Roofing handles the details you send us through this website.
How we handle your information
Who we are
This policy covers the website of 315 Roofing, 415 Homestead Dr, Utica, NY 13502. "We" and "us" mean 315 Roofing. It explains what we collect when you use this site or respond to one of our ads, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in a form we receive your name, phone number, the address or ZIP code you give, the service you picked and anything you write in the message box.
- Calls. When you call a number shown on this site or in our ads, our call tracking provider logs your phone number, the time and length of the call and which ad or page led to it. Calls may be recorded for quality, training and to make sure we follow up on every request.
- Ad and visit information. If you arrive from an ad, the link carries an ad click identifier (for example Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid) and sometimes a location code, which we store with your request so we can tell which ads work.
- Device and usage information. Like most websites, this site and the services below collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived, using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To contact you about your request, arrange an appointment and give you a quote.
- To call or text you about the request you made. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts; we do not send marketing texts without your separate consent.
- To measure which ads and pages lead to requests, and to improve the site and our advertising.
- To keep business records and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Advertising and analytics services
We use the following services on this site and in our advertising. Each acts under its own privacy policy, linked below.
- Google Ads (Google LLC) measures which ads lead to calls and form requests (conversion tracking), may show our ads to people who visited this site (remarketing), and may forward calls through a Google forwarding number so a call from an ad can be counted. Privacy policy. Opt out: Google Ad Settings.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) records how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on page, device and approximate location) in aggregate. Privacy policy. Opt out: Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) records anonymized sessions (clicks, scrolls and taps) and heatmaps so we can see where the site is confusing; it does not record what you type into form fields. Privacy policy.
- Google Maps (Google LLC) shows embedded maps of our location and service area; Google may set cookies when a map loads. Privacy policy.
- Google Local Services Ads (Google LLC) connects you with us when you contact us through a Local Services ad; Google may record calls and messages made through it under its own terms. Privacy policy.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) (Meta Platforms, Inc.) the Meta Pixel and Conversions API measure which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to requests and may show our ads to people who visited this site; Meta lead forms send us the details you enter in them. Privacy policy. Opt out: Meta ad preferences.
- CallRail (CallRail, Inc.) provides the tracking phone numbers on this site and in our ads; it logs the calling number, time and length of each call, which ad or page led to it, and may record calls. Privacy policy.
We may also advertise on Microsoft Advertising (Bing), TikTok, Nextdoor. If we do, their measurement tools work in the same way as those above, under their own policies.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Blocking cookies will not stop the site from working.
To limit interest-based advertising across companies, use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out, and the opt-out links listed for each service above. On a phone, you can also limit ad tracking in your device's privacy settings.
Your browser's Global Privacy Control signal, where the law requires it, is treated as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising. We do not respond to the older "Do Not Track" signal, because there is no common standard for it.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that run the site, email, call tracking, analytics and advertising for us, only to do that work.
- The advertising platforms listed above, as described.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor if the business is sold or merged.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep request and call records for as long as we need them to serve you and keep business records, then delete them. We protect information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, as New York's SHIELD Act requires, but no system is perfectly secure.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of its use for advertising. Residents of states with privacy laws, including California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone. To make a request, call us at (315) 368-7970. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Effective 2026-10-09.
